I LOOOOOVVVEEE this place. It is the type of place that you hoard like a dragon with their gold. Their polish colors are stunning and vibrant. I typically get muted or off toned colors with salons. Whereas this salon has an extensive selection and when you give them an inspo photo they’re able to match the colors super well. My nails hurt for maybe 5 min after grinding and building them, but are MUCH more manageable/don’t hurt after that. I’m not sure if they use different products than other places or they’re very careful to grind the finest layer off, but my nails look much healthier than other places too. The nails last for 2-3 weeks even with rough construction/home Reno use. I plan to baby this set and fill them as much as they’ll let me 🤣💕 The atmosphere is wonderful, the techs are very light hearted tongue in cheek joking with each other. They kept teasing my tech that they wouldn’t be able to execute the photo (hint: they did! And I’m in absolute love. I was dancing in my seat with excitement when they agreed to do the design and after each step). AND if you don’t want to talk, they’ll be happy to stay quiet and not talk with you. A true introverts dream. Also I am a perpetual wiggle monster that cannot sit still for the life of me. I’m used to getting yelled at and told to stay still. My tech has been very patient and has never once even scowled at me for moving so much. They just readjust as needed and continue. To conclude, if you’re looking for a nail salon/tech that the first thing you do after winning the lottery is bee line to their chair and hire them permanently: you have found the place. Prices are super reasonable too! My sister and I got this set and another done (hers was simpler) and we were charged $174 before tip.

Updated post: I'm hoping third time's a charm because I wrote an updated review twice now and both times Google did not post it. Here goes - I love this nail lounge, I drive 41 minutes from Blue Springs out to Kearney, MO because I really do appreciate great service the first time and every time afterward. I updated my review from four stars to five stars. I came today to get coffin shaped matte black nails and I got just that! They look phenomenal it was a fill and I appreciate Ryan's work every time. This is my third visit, second for myself and the other time was for my daughter. She got her nails done, she showed a photo of a design she saw on Pinterest and Ryan did a better job than the inspirational photo. Ryan is my go-to guy for my nails out here but honestly watching all the other technicians I'm certain they do a great job as well, I just tend to stay loyal to the first person who got it right out the gate. If you're looking for a hospitable environment, high standards, friendly staff, and an owner who clearly takes pride in his business you'll come to Crescent Nail Lounge. Remembe, I drive 41 minutes to get here so I'm not just saying it I'm doing it. So if you're in the Northland you definitely want to come out but again I think it's worth the drive no matter where you are in the Kansas City area. Posting those photos of my daughter's nails and then my matte black nails. As far as the wait time, this time and the time that I brought my daughter there was no significant wait. In fact this time I was late and called ahead to let them know and as soon as I got here they got me seated and started. Previous Review: Did have a long wait even though I made an appointment. Otherwise, friendly and good service.

Me, my daughter, and granddaughters have been coming to crescent for nearly a year and they are top notch every time. Some places get too comfortable with you when you become a regular and lose consistency with service and care, not here! The facility is always clean, the entire staff is friendly and fun! I am particularly hard on my nails and they have never held up for the "normal" length of time resulting in more frequent visits, but Diane! (Rockstar) shifted me from dip back to acrylic and now I can get almost 3 weeks out of my nails! She listened to my issues and helped me figure out what works best for me and I love that! My natural nails have grown out and they have never been healthier. I've had great experiences with Nick, Ryan, Derek, Summer - everyone there does a great job! Nick is phenomenal with the art by the way! I highly recommend them, make an appointment to get seated quickly, although walk-ins don't wait that long. Oh and did I mention pedis? The best! They take their time and it is so relaxing! Kudos!

Love this place! I’m a bit particular and my nails are perfect every time no matter who does them. It’s nice, clean and the people are friendly. Bonus points for offering a wide selection of drinks and getting me in and out quickly.
